While stationed in England, Steve Marchioli met his future wife, Glenis Holbrow who was at the time working as a radar technician, watching the buzz bombs come over England.

Below we can see that Steve Marchioli attained the rank of T/Sgt. in the U.S.A.A.F. He completed 36 missions over Europe and was a crew member of two planes...the Flak Eater and the Thunder Mug. He received decorations such as the Air Medal, with FIVE Oak Leaf Clusters, the European Theater Medal, the Victory in Europe Medal among others.
